ODude Index is a directory component for Joomla 1.5.
You can use ODude Index run a complex directory system. Unlike other extensions it is versatile. We have given less time for GUI at back-end with a concept that it will be used by a professional company who at least have basic HTML and PHP ideas.

Template system is very unique and smart in nature. Each category can have different template.
For eg. one category can work at yellow pages and other as photo gallery.

ODude Index came up with new concept of listing where many pictures can be added into a single article which will work as gallery.
For eg. One Real State company is listed. It will have different pictures as a gallery for bathroom, living room etc.

Support page is very customizable with own set of fields. All the links and buttons can be enable/disable.

With ODude index you can create a site which will work on Joomla 1.5.

    ODude Index Article alt (Included)

    This module will hightlight the selected article, topic, title to specified position.
    Eg. For premium listing

    ODude Index Category (Included)

    This module will display the banner picture posted for particular category.
    Eg. For category advertisement

    ODude Index Menu (Included)

    This module will list the categories in the form of Joomla menu.
    No need to create each menu link.

    ODude Index Search (Included)

    This module will display the search box just like Joomla Default.
    Selected fields can be searched.

     

    ODude Index Template     (Included)

    This is template for ODude Index 1.5 & higher version. Each single category can have unique ODude Template.

    Default Template:

    • If no template is selected, it brings up default template.
    • Custom fields publish, ordering reflects.
    • Search, Tag uses default template.

    Business Template:

    • Custom build for client.
    • Fields like (Phone, Fax, email, Contact person, address are included.)
    • All fields in template are forced. Publish and ordering will not be controlled by admin.

    Photo Template:

    • Custom build for client.
    • Photo Gallery system can be achieved with lightbox zoom option.
    • Photo gallery navigation (Previous | Home | Next)
    • Each picture can have its title and description.
    • Any registered user can post picture and sent to administrative check.

    Gallery Template:

    • Custom build for client
    • Just like photo template with added fields and different submission form.
    • Added address, phone, email fields

    Phone Template:

    • Custom build for client
    • Just like Business template. Highlighting phone no.
    • Removed business type option.

    We believe it is far more better than any other commercial directory based component because it is designed in such a way almost any type of requirements can meet.
    For eg. can add ajax validation, lightbox, banner, html code, php code, flash support on any page with help of template.

    We are very busy giving support for Joomla 1.5. If we create it for Joomla 1.6 or 1.7 we afraid for lack of support.
    Anyway we are trying increase a number of support staff.

    I would like to offer a suggestion. It is somewhat non-traditional, however, it would be great if a user could be able to offer a comment on an item after reading it's entry.
    Would it be possible to connect "JomComment" component to your program in order to do this. Being able to share an experience, make a recommendation, or an evaluation of an entry would be fantastic.

    We can do it as you want and this component is just for it.
    mail me in detail what sort of categories you want and types of filed you want into listings. If its inside component we will setup in FREE of cost.
